Here's one of my favorite pages from Aspen's Executive Assistant: Orchid book that I worked on last summer...
Whoa, this is awesome. Love the fabric folds on the central guy. Great hands and feet too!
Thanks Ryan! For some reason this was one of those pages where I was hitting on all cylinders...By that I mean I was getting unusually good results with some things I often have a tough time with, like you mentioned, the feet and folds in the fabric...Its nice when things happen easily sometimes!!
I really enjoy the framing and perspective on this page. The composition is especially nice and the subtle detail in this make me smile.
Thanks! Glad you appreciate all the little things...Sometimes I wonder if most people notice!
that's some awesome work
Love the angle
Great page. Very dramatic.
Haha, I like you you "show your work" in your pencils.
Wowee D: Nice job!
Nice work! This is a hard shot to pull off.
Yeah, it was tough!! Took a while to get the figure in the foreground right, and people laying on the ground aren't easy either...But it was fun!
Looks great! Nice work!
VEry hard perspective, you nailed it pretty nice!
very, very cool. Love the expressions on all the faces. Great work with the perspective. Very tricky shot, and you nailed it!
Thanks Max! Much appreciated...Sometimes its hard for me to know if I nailed the perspective because I stare at it for so long and don't know if its right anymore...Glad you like!
That chick has some anger management issues that she needs to address.
Thanks dude! Hopefully not crazy/weird The figure in perspective is always one of the most challenging things for me to draw.
